ARIYA HAWKINS is a Chicago-based actor, singer, and teaching artist. Hawkins began her training in The ChiArts Musical Theatre program, and is a graduate of Millikin University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre. Recent regional credits include Cabaret (Studio Theatre Tierra Del Sol), Haven (Outer Loop Theater Experience), a hit dog will holler (Artemisia Theatre), Shut Up Kiss Me (PrideArts), and The Bikinis, The Queen Bees, and Vanities: The Musical (Canterbury Summer Theatre). Touring credits include A Raisin in the Sun and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Olney Theatre Center, National Players). Hawkins firmly believes that theatre belongs to all of us, and we must utilize it as a tool for our collective healing; this mission guides all of her artistic work.
